Work Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday *
* The role usually takes place in standard work hours, but some late and early working may be required at times of high volume

Job Title: Production Assistant
Fudge is currently searching for an exceptionally organised Production Assistant to join our Production team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate seeking valuable industry experience. The role is based in our studio in Camberley, Surrey, and requires a minimum of three days in the office. The Production Assistant will report to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Task Management:
Monitor and update the studio schedule, making adjustments to meet evolving project needs and ensure timely delivery.
Develop and oversee project schedules, aligning them with the studio's master schedule.
Guarantee a steady workflow for all artists, offering clarity on project priorities.
Maintain accurate task deadlines within our task management system, sourced from project schedules.
Foster open communication with the production team, artists, and external suppliers, providing updates on project schedules, changes, and resource availability.
Resource Planning:
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external partners and vendors, ensuring resources are readily available when the studio requires expansion or outsourcing.
With a designated budget, coordinate the booking of freelance talent for projects and manage supplier relationships throughout project duration.
Proactively identify scheduling conflicts and resource shortages, collaborating with the Production Manager to swiftly resolve issues and uphold project timelines.
Maintain comprehensive records of project schedules, resource allocation, and scheduling-related communication, including accurate and up-to-date project calendars and supplier/freelancer interactions.
Production Coordination:
Track project progress within the Productive platform and maintain up-to-date project status documents for client reviews.
Assist the Production Manager with administrative and organisational tasks.
Support the Production Manager in internal recruitment processes.
Assist in coordinating logistics for shoot days, such as preparing call sheets for live action filming and assisting in child casting for live action shoots.
Qualifications, Skills, and Desired Qualities:
A degree in a relevant discipline or substantial experience in facilitating creative productions.
Prior experience in booking creative talent and a network of dependable agencies and freelancers is a valuable asset.
Strong organisational, collaboration, and communication skills.
A positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
